Susana Espantoso

Born in Cuba and raised in Miami, I bring a diverse and multicultural perspective to my professional journey. In December 2023, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education and Behavior with a specialization in Health Studies from the University of Florida. During my time at UF, I had the privilege of conducting clinical research for two years at Shands Children’s Hospital Emergency Department and in the Women’s Clinic. This invaluable experience provided me with hands-on knowledge and skills in healthcare settings. Looking ahead, I aspire to attend medical school and ultimately create a welcoming and supportive environment for my patients. I am passionate about making a positive impact in patients’ lives and offering education on their health issues to empower them in their healthcare journeys.
