    Sakhrat Khizroev is an electrical engineer and a world renowned inventor who directs the Personalized Nanomedicine Center at Florida International University. He is the Vice Chairman of the Department of Immunology and Professor of Cellular Biology at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. He is also Professor of Electrical Engineering at the FIU College of Engineering. Dr. Khizroev is granted 30 patents with IBM, Seagate, CMU, FIU, and UCR. He is a prolific author with over 120 published papers and 5 books on topics such as: targeted drug delivery, reverse brain engineering, perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR), spintronics-based information processing, near-field optical transducers (Nanolasers), and many others. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
