Biography
Dr. Lei (Linda) Xie is a Board-Certified general neurologist interested in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of neurological conditions both in the hospital and the clinic setting. She is fellowship-trained to read EEGs and EMGs and to treat disorders in epilepsy and neuromuscular conditions such as ALS, Myasthenia Gravis, peripheral neuropathies, and myopathies.
Dr. Xie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dartmouth College with a degree in Human Biology and completed her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts. Having performed her Neurology residency at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital she then completed her fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology there as well. Dr. Xie is passionate about patient care and practices patient-centered medicine that encourages shared decision making between patients, physicians, and families to provide an individualized care plan for each patient with an emphasis on both the emotional and physical wellbeing of the patient.
