Mr. Dasburg is a dynamic business leader and tycoon active in civic affairs with a strong commitment to South Florida and the State. His achievements are many, ranging from a 1991 appointment by President George Bush to the White House Fellows Committee, to his role on the Board of Governors of the Florida University system after his appointment in 2003. Mr. Dasburg has been a director of The Travelers Companies, Inc. since 1994 and has served as Lead Director since 2006. His key professional positions include Chairman of the Board and CEO of Astar Air Cargo Inc. (2003-2013), Chairman, President and CEO of Burger King Corporation (2001-2003), President and CEO, Northwest Airlines (1989-2001), President of Lodging Group, CFO and Chief Real Estate Officer, Marriott (1973-1980), Tax Partner, KPMG Peat Marwick (1978-1980), and Member, Advisory Board of Trilantic Capital Partners and Compressus Incorporated.
