Lecture: Promoting Mobility and Fall Prevention in PD

Mobility challenges along with other symptoms, may place those living with

PD at significant risk for falls.  

This lecture will focus on:

• Ways to best promote ongoing independence and identify fall risks
• Measures that can be taken at home and  in the community to modify environmental factors associated with falls
  • A general exercise program geared toward engaging the muscles that

promote balance and overall stability for individuals with PD
