Nurse care coordinator joins team

The Brain Center is pleased to announce the addition of Yaili “Gigi” Estevez, RN, as Nurse Care Coordinator to its clinical team. As Nurse Care Coordinator, she is the first point of contact available to patients for clinical questions or concerns and will work as a part of The Brain Center’s clinical team to coordinate patients’ care across the clinical spectrum.

With this addition to the team, The Brain Center continues to expand its breadth of services to patients in order to continue providing the high-touch, comprehensive care Neurology patients often require.

A native of Miami, Ms. Estevez received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing graduating with honors and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Nursing. She has a wealth of experience in providing care coordination and emergency care having worked as an Emergency Department Nurse with Baptist Health South Florida and in the Surgical Step-Down Unit of Coral Gables Hospital. Prior to that, she worked as an Urgent Care Nurse with Miami Children’s Hospital where she gained experience in administering emergency services working with children and their families.
