Free Alzheimer’s Caregiver course

The Brain Center announced that it has partnered with Florida International University’s Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences to offer a free, one-day course for caregivers of those affected by Alzheimer’s and related dementias.

This unique course offers practical tips and strategies while also demonstrating hands-on techniques considered best practices when caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience Dementia Live™, a high-impact dementia simulation that results in a deeper understanding of what it’s like to live with this disease.
